Watchlist
Finding stocks with strong momentum can be complicated. Finding stocks with sound fundamentals that rhyme with the momentum is the real challenge. So we created the screener to let you identify stocks that meet different momentum criteria and are near a breakout in the coming days, or weeks. Then we gather the fundamental data and facts in a single-page report, letting you analyze when value meets momentum and find your Valmentum™ stocks.

Pocket Pivot
A Pocket Pivot is an early-leadership trigger: within a constructive base or after a strong-stage advance, a stock prints an up-day whose volume exceeds the highest down-day volume of the prior 10 sessions, yet has not broken out to new highs. This is paired with Relative Price Strength filters — typically requiring high RPS (e.g., RPS50/120/250 well into the 90s) so the pivot fires only on proven market leaders, not weak rebounds. The signal flags accumulation before a full breakout, giving an earlier entry into leading stocks.

Monthly Reversal
A Monthly Reversal is a monthly-level accumulation signal marking the transition from a long decline or basing phase to a new monthly uptrend. It triggers when a stock prints a bullish monthly candle like a reversal after lower lows, an engulfing month, or a close back above the prior month's high, while key monthly moving averages such as the 5, 10 or 20-month MA flatten and turn up. The signal is confirmed by rising RPS, particularly RPS120 and RPS250 advancing into the 90s, and by price moving toward prior highs or a 12-month high zone. Volume should contract through the downtrend or basing phase and expand on the reversal month, with price reclaiming key monthly moving averages serving as additional confirmation. Avoid names still making lower monthly lows or with falling RPS.

Train-Track Setup
The Train-Track Setup is a trend confirmation pattern that fires when two key moving averages, such as the 10-day and 20-day lines for near-term entries or the 120-day and 250-day lines for the longer-term trend, rise together on a tight, roughly parallel slope, like two train tracks running side by side. It only qualifies when Relative Price Strength is deep in leadership territory (RPS120 plus RPS250 above roughly 185, ideally RPS250 at 95 or higher), confirming the stock is an already proven leader rather than a random bounce. The ideal buy trigger comes when the short-term track flattens or dips slightly toward the longer track during a shallow pullback (under about 25% off highs, turnover under 10%), then curls back up, signaling the trend is realigning before its next leg higher.
